Who is this guy?: A Self-Introductory Blogpost

For almost two decades, I've been asked to introduce myself countless times, and for each of those times I've always had something different to say about who I am. And for the times that I've had to introduce myself, I've noticed that the more I had to say, the less the audience/reader paid attention to what I was saying. So I've decided to make this self-introductory post as short and (in my best attempt) memorable as possible.

The good looking guy encircled in the image  The guy in the image(me) is a 19-year old college freshman who is currently studying Computer Science at a somewhat known(sarcasm) university in Manila, FEU Tech. I was born on Quezon City, but moved to the summer capital; Baguio when he was in elementary. As a child, I found that he i an affinity towards computers, but only fully realized my passion towards the subject later on.

Before I decided that I wanted to sit in a desk and press buttons for a living, I played basketball for his school team who was known for their elementary and high school basketball teams. He's won a few championship medals with the team but ultimately stopped playing just before the pandemic hit. As for my academic background, I was an overachiever who devolved into a subpar student during junior high school. However, my senior years were the pinnacle of my academic pursuits, graduating with honors and a best-written quantitative research certificate given to me by the school board.

Fast forward to present day; I take the bus to get to campus, which takes around an hour and a half, I runs on caffeine every other day, and I also find the smell of Morayta very unpleasant. In terms of hobbies, there's listening to music of the urban contemporary variety(hip-hop), reading sci-fi novels, riding motorcycles, and watching programming tutorials on YouTube. As for current hobbies, there are none, as I am too busy trying to survive a particular math subject with hopes of not having to become an irregular student the following term.

But besides surviving college, I hope to one day become a software developer and get to work on important technology that can positively impact the lives of others. As a college freshman, the roadmap towards my goals seem to still be shrouded in ambiguity. However, I am aware that in most aspects of life, navigating is part of the challenge, and one of the most important things you can know about me is that I always try to look forward to whatever life decides to throw at me.
